
Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster, who is a reporter for Apple TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting included roles at MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations located in Fresno.Watney attended Clovis West High School in Fresno and participated in gymnastics, hurdles, diving and cheerleading. She was a National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated from the university with high marks. Watney was a contestant in Miss California USA in 2002, where she was first second place. Watney began her career at KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. Beginning as a morning traffic reporter she moved to weekend sports anchor and later reporter for weekdays. "3"Watney came to Massachusetts in 2008 to join the team for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was an Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012, Watney began her career at Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a reporter for LA Galaxy. In November 2012, she was employed by MLB Network. There she was employed for nine years. She was host of Quick Pitch. The show was added to Apple TV+ in 2022. Sixteen Heidi Watney served as a field reporter for the MLB on TBS 2022.
