KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American music producer and singer who gained fame when she took home American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson grew up at Burleson, Texas, a suburb located in Fort Worth, where her voice was first noticed by her choir instructor at school at the age of a seventh grader. After graduating from high school, Clarkson made the move into Los Angeles, where she failed to make it into the show business. She was selected as a participant for the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol singing competition, which allowed viewers the opportunity to select their preferred artist. Fans were amazed by Clarkson's arresting voice, charisma, and sense of humour. Her prize for winning the contest was $1 million plus an recording deal with RCA.
