Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) was a English singer-songwriter from England. She gained the attention of the world in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly climbed to the top of the charts due to her infectious electronic pop sound. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream, and an aptitude for writing emotional songs with positive lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as the artful independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign Goulding and was preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
