Sharron Williams died 15 March 2022. She was born in Miami on November 11th, 1982. She was the daughter of Floyd Williams and Abigail Evans Williams. She graduated from high school in the New World School of the Arts where she received training in various forms of dancing. She was awarded a variety of scholarships during her tenure there at New World to attend Alvin Ailey's summer camp. Then she joined the Ailey II 2nd Company. She then went on to go on to Florida State University and received an undergraduate degree from Applied Economics and another Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Social Science. In realizing that her skills, talent and creative inclinations extend to dancing and other arts and more, she chose to study acting with the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater under James Brill. Additionally, she has worked on films and television projects that include Lovecraft Country Vinyl for HBO, The Get Down Netflix, Scary Movie 5, and Netflix's own original series The Get Down. She has also played the character as Cinderella at Lincoln Center In the Little Orchestra society's production of Cinderella. She was fortunate to be travelling across the US as well as Canada with Disney's The Lion King and most recently with Broadway's Broadway company.
