Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967 at Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Early in his life the father of her mother became obsessed with acting. While in school in Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. When he joined in 1953 the Air Force in Biloxi, he was seen with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their first child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter and his wife were discharged from their Air Force service in the year 1957, when they enrolled Walter at Tulane University. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when the family relocated from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in the year 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) at the time.
