Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th, 1967. She is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta starting with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre since a young age. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions in Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953 and, while working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the Air force. In 1955, the couple got married and in 1956 their child Eric Anthony was born. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed on their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for six years. They had two more children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
